Don’t Think About My Words

Let the words course through you.

Let them do it on their own.

Allow whatever chemical reaction your system is made for to take place autonomously.

But don’t think about the words. Smile, gag, retch or shrug. But don’t furrow your brow. Don’t catch your chin in your hand.

I’d rather you didn’t agree or disagree. I have no interest in ascriptions of correctness.

The words are like the knot you catch on to unwind a ball of string. They unfold my self-disclosure: to you. Through and down beyond your own house of words.

Products of transformation effecting transformation.

Or not.
